Sustainable development
“We do not inherit the earth from our fathers, we are borrowing it from our children.”
Antoine Marie Roger de Saint-Exupéry
Considering the current growing challenges of the World, we make every effort to be
a company responsible for the environment through the actions we introduce. For many years, we have been undertaking initiatives aimed at improving our activity in such a way that it becomes more environmentally friendly. We are sure that sustainable and responsible development of the enterprise is the correct model on which to base business.
Shaping pro-ecological awareness among our employees and business partners is very important for us. We want to encourage our Suppliers to act in accordance with our approach this is why we created Supplier Code of conduct at Intrograf-Lublin S.A.
Commitment to protect the environment and respect human rights is based on internally implemented policies: Enviromental Policy, Ethics Policy, Health and Safety Policy.
We are on our way to verifying our emissions:
Scope 1
Scope 2
Scope 3
LCA
After calculations, we aim to set the targets according to the EU strategy.
Among activities to protect the environment and sustainable development are those connected with:
SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT
We pay particular attention to the use of controlled sources of raw materials for the production of folding boxes and leaflets, Intrograf is FSC®-certified.
SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING
We are constantly introducing more sustainable production solutions such as :
- heaters with heat exchanger from printing machines which results in heating recovery and greenhouse gas emission reduction
- production planning in a way that minimizes the consumption of materials for the initial setting of the process
- innovative printing technique CMYKOGV with high influence on limitation of waste released to the environment
- certified-proven recipients of production waste
- ecological solutions: solar panels, carports, electric car, Garden of Intrograf
To confirm all those actions we participate in public reporting including:
We record our progress in the Intrograf Sustainability Report which is updated annually.
CSR
We are as unique as our employees are unique, which is why we decided to take care of their access to culture, sports and psychological support.
We are proud of the city in which we live and work. Intrograf undertakes a number of activities for the benefit of Lublin and its inhabitants.
Intrograf Team
We support health and physical fitness. We have been providing organizational support to our Team of runners for many years.
Intrograf Gallery
We are always able to go beyond the usual patterns, which is why the Galeria Intrograf project was created. The first exhibition took place in April 2022 and concerned the art of the outstanding Lublin artist, Leszek Mądzik. It was the first event of this type in Poland, visitors to the exhibition could experience art in a working factory. The production cycle thus became part of the works presenting the effects of passing time.
We are currently working on the first exhibition outside the factory, which will be located on our carports. Our mission is to prove that there are no places inaccessible to art.
Intrograf Cafe
The idea of Intrograf Cafe was born during the Covid-19 pandemic. We decided to maintain relationships through online sessions with our Clients. The project is still ongoing and our Clients and employees have the opportunity to meet online with psychologists and athletes.
Intrograf Community
We build relationships with our Employees and the local community by organizing company events and participating in various initiatives:
Children's Day - every year we prepare a competition for the children of our employees and Clients. This year the prize will be puzzles based on children's works.
Entrepreneurial kids - we take part in the "Entrepreneurial Kids" educational program and support creativity and the development of business knowledge from an early age.
Sponsorship - we support local sport and culture. We are a sponsor of the Bogdanka LUK Lublin volleyball team, in which Olympic silver medalist Wilfredo León plays. We also support the three-time Polish team speedway champion Motor Lublin. And for several years we have been a proud patron of the Old Theater in Lublin, which is the second oldest preserved theater in Poland, and its history dates back to 1822.
